Due to a problem with Sourceforge, our file and CVS activity remain at Zero. As you can see under https://sourceforge.net/docs/A04/, this is not our fault.
Annotation development continues at full speed, currently the Server is being improved.
The compabilty with XHTML markup has been significantly improved.
Especially the wikipedia.org Sites should work fine now.
Finally the CVS repository has been filled with data. Unfortunately I had to start it from scratch, but all future development will be posted there first. So if you want to stay fresh, load from CVS...

The new version just got more useful. Now you can set a remote Annotea compatible server to publish and retreive your annotations from.
We will soon publish our own server that will supports the Annotatio extensions.
Besides that Annotation are now shown more user friendly and you can use HTML markup to also attach Images, Links,or else as an annotation to a document.
