After getting a beta account and running it locally on my machine. I went to http://127.0.0.1:8080 in IE and was able to see the instruction page. From then on, what do I do?
It said: "Drag the following Links to your Favourites so you can access them with one click." What links?
The only think I can do is select the text on the same page http://127.0.0.1:8080 with the mouse and click on the "Internet Explorer: Post Annotation" link to get a form to submit.
"Load annotation" link also won't work, it gave me this: Error - The remote annotation server could not be reached
Reason:
While trying to connect to the remote annotation server http://spruce.rostock.igd.fhg.de:8088/annotatio-servlet/ as user coho a connection error occured. The error message I got is:
You need to save those links as bookmarks in your browser and make sure you can access them with one click while your surf.
For IE:
Select the Link with right mouse button and click "Add to favourites".
Now make sure the Favourites are displayed while you surf, usually you click onto the Favourites logo, and they will be shown on the left of your browsing window.
In the new version you can also add the favourites right to the IE-Toolbar.
Sorry, if this answer comes to late. Sourceforge did not update the number of entries in this forum.

Check whether your network connection to that server is working and if you got response code 401, check your credentials.
