Hi there,

I used yesterday ANI for the first time.

First of all:
I had big problems with the password. The mistake was surely on my side, because
I was going too fast without reading, but I'd like to have some more
documentation on this topic.

E.g: smbpasswd -a -U hanswurst
Use a password you like

encrypt:
1) Use the KEY as seen in the Dok
2) Use the same PASSWORD like above



Second, and this is my problem:
Why is smartdrv not included in the autoexec.bat? I see people having problems
with copying files ( e. g. *.udf ). The local copy works for hours, I stopped
after three, reboot and added smartdrv.exe ( it is already copied on disk ) to
the autoexec.bat und let it run again. Than the copy is done at least within
half an hour.

--> Does anybody know, how to include smartdrv.exe automatically to the
autoexec.bat?  E. G.: C:\install\smartdrv.exe
Or why is it not done as the standard procedure?
