hello all, since migtration to ANI i have the following problem: if a user logs on a NT4 domain (win2k server), and has no phisical ethernet connection to the server, the local profile is removed and temporary profile (C:\Documents and Settings\temp) is beeing created and used. before, the user could still work on *his* local profile, if not connected to network. thanks |

Hi Simon, I still think, it has to do with this key (or any other Registry-Tweak in this file), because this is where we change the computers behaviour in comparison to a clean windows installation (where the deleting of the roaming profile doesn't seem to occur). So why not try to do an ANI-Installation without this key?... And have a look at this: http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba-ntdom/2001-November/020506.html Maybe we're setting the right thing at the wrong place here?
