Hi. I have the following modelling setup: in one package lives the Service/WebService --- a class with only methods declared. In a second package, I define my domain class model (etc.). All in the expectation that the Service class will be implemented using the domain classes. Now, generation of my WebService works all good and well (using filter=webservice, ejb, java). But only when the package containing the Service class is the only package included in the generation (using <modelPackage process="false" .../> for all of the domain packages). When including the entire set of packages, the andro Model Validation fails with: All attributes must have a public visibility. --- for each and every class in the domain package(s)! Why would I be required to make all of my domain model attributes "public" when generating a WebService interface? What is the reasoning here :? I was happy with model, the generation, the world --- and, now, adding a web service interface ruins all of that? eh?? Could somebody please enlighten me? Or what am I not seeing? cheers, -olaf. -- An eye for an eye leaves the world blind. _________________________________________________________ Reply to the post : http://galaxy.andromda.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6595#6595 Posting to http://forum.andromda.org/ is preferred over posting to the mailing list! |
