Goal

Infinite single player mode

Because the infinite mode is infinite there is not a goal in the classical sense. Due to there isn't an end of the game, the player can't win but loose the game. So it's similar to the survival mode in many arcade games. The infinite mode is something like a free or sandbox game mode. Therefore the objective can be defined by the player.

If a new game in the infinite mode is started, some essential resources are provided to the user. With these resources the user can build an empire. Unless he looses all his money and resources and facilities or is defeated by another player or he defeats all other players.

Fundamental gameplay

In the game the player can build and control a society. He has to build facilities to gather resources and to satisfy the populace. He can choose between different forms of domination and leadership. For example he can try to make his populace happy or to reach the highest profit. The player can act as dictator or create some kind of democracy. A very important aspect of the game is to transport goods to cover the needs of facilities and the populace.

The populace has different necessities depending on the epoch and satisfied needs. The most important necessity in almost every situation is the generally need of employment.

Trading is also a very important part of the gameplay. The player can trade goods with other players. But some players won't trade with a player from a specific political origin.

Build mode

The build mode is a simple graphical mode (2D) to build facilities, transport routes and to configure facilities and so on. There are three layers: air, ground and underground. Its possible to transport electricity, people and water in the air, on the ground and in the underground.

Analytic mode

The analytic mode represents all data about the society, the economy, the technological progress and helps to control the taxes and everything else which is related to controlling the society and economy.
