Android Dementia Day Clock

This is one of the two best apps I've found for my geriatric father with the effects of brain damage caused by a hemmoraghic stroke. (The other is Senior Frame - it puts selfies emailed by family members up on his TV within 30 minutes of them being sent.) Day Clock sets up great. I'm running it on an ASUS EEE PC using Android-x86, which was the easiest way by far that I found to get Android running on the ASUS. (The facility staff just shut the lid at night and open it in the morning.) And I've also got it installed on a low cost Android TV box (30 dollars delivered from China) which outputs through HDMI to a TV. I could have used an old monitor and a hdmi-vga adaptor​ if that had been handier. Having the device connected to the internet by wifi allows system time to be kept very accurate. Which means the time on the Day Clock is very accurate. Switch on daylight savings/summer time option for system time, select your specific time zone in system options and time changes are handled automatically. This app might save you lots of money and time, do a great job, and is set up for easy use straight away. Or you can tweak it to make it pretty much perfect. Could also be of use for dementia, and memory loss. A language classroom and those in the long Arctic and Antarctic days and nights could also make use of it.
