AndCards is a flashcard program for Android devices. Flash cards can be created either inside the program or on a PC and imported as a CSV
file.
Select Add to create a new card stack. For each card stack, there are three lists: New, Drill, and Quiz.
Once a card is created, it is added to the New stack. For each card viewed in this stack, the memorize (brain) button moves the card to the Drill stack and introduces it to the quiz system. Quizzes of the memorized cards will be generated on a daily basis. For best results, do not mark a card memorized until it truly is.
The drill stack shows those flashcards that need additional work. Upon viewing a card in the list, marking it correct (happy face) removes it from the drill stack. For best results, drill all cards throughout the day so that all cards are gone from the stack by the end of the day.
The quiz stack adds cards each day on an as needed basis. More difficult cards are reviewed more often. After viewing a card in the stack the user rates the memorization level of the card (i.e. 6 = completely memorized and 1 = cannot remember the card at all).
It is possible to add images to flash cards by creating a zip file with the images stored inside, and placing it on the SD Card under Android/data/net.ekimd.andcards. Then, create a new field of type images and enter the image filename on each card's text field.
AndCards is free under the terms of the GNU General Public License, Version 2.
