Remote Control
AnchorCast includes a built-in Wi-Fi remote control that lets you control the presentation from any phone, tablet, or browser on the same network — no app install required.
Accessing the Remote
Open a browser on any device connected to the same Wi-Fi network and go to:
http://[your-computer-ip]:5000/remote
Finding your IP address:
- In AnchorCast: click Remote in the toolbar — the full URL is displayed
- Or: open Command Prompt and type
ipconfig → look for IPv4 Address
Example: http://10.0.0.60:8080/remote

Connecting with a PIN
When PIN auth is enabled, the remote shows a PIN entry screen. Enter the PIN for your role to connect.
Using the Remote During a Service
For the Worship Leader / Pastor
- Open the remote on your phone
- Log in with your PIN
- Use the Songs tab to navigate worship slides during praise
- Use the Scripture tab to quickly look up and present verses mid-sermon
The operator at the main computer sees the same state in real time. The remote and the main app stay perfectly in sync — advancing a slide on the remote advances it on the main screen and vice versa.
