Projection Setup

AnchorCast displays content on a second screen — a projector, TV, or monitor connected to the operator's computer.

Quick Setup

  1. Connect your projector or second screen to the computer
  2. Open AnchorCast
  3. Press Ctrl+P (or go to Display → Open Projection)
  4. The projection window opens — drag it to the projector display
  5. Press F11 inside the projection window to make it fullscreen
  6. The screen stays black until you press Project Live

Windows Display Settings

If your projector is not showing as a second screen:

  1. Right-click the desktop → Display settings
  2. Make sure the projector appears as Display 2
  3. Set arrangement to Extend these displays (not Duplicate or Show only 1)
  4. Click Apply

Then reopen the projection window in AnchorCast (Ctrl+P) and drag it to the projector.

Projection Window Controls

The projection window has its own toolbar in the Live Display panel (right panel):

Control Description
LOGO Toggle the church logo overlay on/off
BG Toggle the background overlay
🔔 Send an alert/announcement overlay
Toggle a lower-third caption overlay
Close the projection window
Expand to fullscreen

Clearing the Screen

  • Clear Screen button (bottom-right) — blanks the projection screen completely
  • Ctrl+Backspace — keyboard shortcut to clear
  • The screen automatically goes black when you close a song or verse without sending a new one

Logo Overlay

To display your church logo on the projection screen:

  1. Go to Settings → Appearance
  2. Upload your church logo (PNG with transparent background recommended)
  3. Use the LOGO button in the Live Display panel to toggle it on/off

NDI Output

AnchorCast can send the projection feed to OBS, vMix, or Wirecast via NDI. See the [NDI & Streaming] page for setup instructions.
