#82 Options not saved?

Hi,
I'm using v1.12 R47 and the options don't seem to save. I change
the foreground color and font size. Quit npp, reopen, and it's
back to the defaults of black/8.

Manual.txt says it should create a AnalysePlugin.ini in the plugin
folder, but this file never gets created, which is probably why
the options don't stick.

I'm using an older build of npp 32bit 7.3.3. Is that a problem? I
use the old one because it has the old plugin manager which makes
it easy to get the TextFx plugin which I use often.

Hi strife cloud,
I tested the Use case you did describe, but could not see this effect in NPP7.9.3(32b).
However, one remark: if you left one remaining search from previous from previous run with a different color e.g. black this search will remain and hence the dialog shows still black.
If you like to reset to the default settings, please use the [clear] button once.

Another problem can be, that the configuration on your system cannot be saved to the ini file at NPP exit. (it's intentionally fire and forget.) To check this use case, please open the analyseplugin.ini being stored in %APPDATA%\Notepad++\plugins\config... with the a different editor as NPP (because it get's written at NPP exit) and check if your defaults are getting reflected.

I also use TextFx (here version 0.26) and got it easily installed into NPP 7.9.3 may be you want to update to latest, but this should not hinder discussion in this ticket.
