The AMX Configurer is a graphical tool that helps administrators of counter strike servers configure their amx.cfg and server.cfg. The latest upgrade now includes a users.ini editor.
There were a few bug fixes and the main upgrade is a users.ini editor. There isn't much help on using the users.ini editor, see the release notes for more details.

This release fixes a bug where the vote ratios weren't being written to the file for amx v1.x

A few small bugs have been fixed in the amx configurer bringing the version number to 2.3.1. They are very minor and current users don't really need to update, but new users should download this version.

The error in the previous news post is for all versions of amx and amxx. Follow the instructions in the previous news otherwise the server probably won't work.

If anyone uses the AMX Configurer with amx v0.9.9 there is a line you should change which prevents any clients from connecting. Open amx.cfg and about a third of the way down there is a line that says admin_mode and a number, that should be changed to amx_mode with the same number. If you have the older version of amx this doesn't need to be changed.
I wasn't going to release another beta for this, but it will be fixed for the next release.

The beta 3 of version 2.3 has been released, this was just to fix a few bugs that were found. If you would like to use this version it is recommended that you download the B3 so that you can take full advantage of the bugs that are fixed.
The next step for development will be to implement saving configurations. Please remember that this is a beta, and there may still be bugs in it.

The beta 2 was released because there was an error that desperately needed fixing. The "file already open" error that meant that none of the configs worked has been fixed. Apart from that nothing has changed.

The AMX Configurer allows users to easily configure the options for counter strike servers. It has all of the amx and amxx config options built into it, and the most common server.cfg options. It also allows users to choose which plugins they want to use based on what plugins are in their plugins folder.
This release has added a few new features. The biggest of them being a server.cfg and listenserver.cfg configuration. A few smaller features are the ability to save and load your configuration and the ability to reset everything. The reset feature is currently not implemented, nor is the save feature.
This beta was released for the purpose of allowing people to use the server.cfg section, and for bug testing. The save feature has been partially implemented, and the reset feature has been partially implemented.
If any bugs are found could you use the sourceforge bug tracker and our sourceforge forum to inform us of the bug.

Version 2.2 of the AMX Configurer has been released. It now incorporates AMXX 1.0. Some other commands from AMX and AMXX 0.16 have been included that weren't included in v2.1.
Some bugs that were in 2.1 have been found and fixed.

There was a problem with not writing the amxx file to the right directory, that has been fixed. The way the program writes to file has been improved. The AMX Configurer Version 2.0 has been released. Version 1.0 to 1.3 were not released with a major update on version 2 and many bugs fixed. There are still small problems to be fixed, and support for AMXX 0.20 will be integrated soon.
