AmviBackUp is a free, open-source Windows application that keeps
versioned copies of your files and folders and helps you restore
earlier versions after accidental changes, deletion or data loss.
Choose a file or folder to protect and a separate location for
backup copies. Backups can run automatically after changes, on
a schedule, or manually.
Copies can be stored as ordinary files or ZIP archives.
Retention settings help manage version history, while pinned
versions can be protected from automatic cleanup.
AmviBackUp includes integrity checks, test restore, and recovery
of whole versions or selected files.
The application runs in the Windows notification area and can
start with Windows.
The current release is 22.0-beta for 64-bit Windows 10/11.
The Windows installer does not require Python.
