#1 Performance Issues

I use Ample and I love it because it's a single binary
that I can lock down with tcpd. Anyway, I have one
directory with most of my music in it. It has about
400 albums (as sub dirs) and approx. 10 songs in each
sub dir.

When I connect to ample from a remote host sometimes it
takes a LONG time to respond...up to several minutes.
This is especially true when the directory structure
has changed, but happens sometimes when it hasn't.

Is there anything I can do to increase performance???
