The project changed name!

Since March, 12nd 2005 Amphibian's name has changed for JFrog. This modification happened because PlayMedia enterprise has had a multiplatform framework to sound editing named AMPhibianTM since 1998. So, Amphibian cited in papers and websites doesn't have nothing in relation of PlayMedia's AMPhibianTM and Amphibian Game Engine Framework, a free multiplatform framework to develop games changed the name for JFrog Game Engine Framework.

Amphibian SDK version 1.0.3 (alpha) released

Amphibian is a framework created to develop multiplatform game engines with high source code reusability. The release 1.0.3.a includes some improvenments:

* sorry but I forgot to put amphibian.superwaba.engine.core package. Now this problem is resolved :^)
* some imports without use it was deleted
* bug fix: now it's possible to have directories in resources. It's used to put images, sounds, anythings. Before this fix occurs problems with CVS. But now its resolved.... read more

Amphibian SDK version 1.0.2 (alpha) released

Amphibian is a framework created to develop multiplatform game engines with high source code reusability. The release 1.0.2.a includes some improvenments:

* add init.sh for help to use Amphibian in GNU/Linux
* bug fix: scripts to run samples for GNU/Linux was corrigied.

Let's try Amphibian now!!

Amphibian SDK version 1.0.1 (alpha) released

Amphibian is a framework created to develop multiplatform game engines with high source code reusability. The release 1.0.1.a includes some improvenments:
* new:add the possibility to define states classes in engine especification. So you could custom your states;
* bug fix: COUNT_FRAME in heap was deleted in FullScreen sample
* bug fix: Hardware accelaration in WindowsXP. Now Amphibian works without hardware acceleration.
* docs: include VARIABLE.TXT with more information about environment variables.... read more

Amphibian SDK version 1.0.0.a released

Amphibian is a framework created to develop multiplatform game engines with high source code reusability. Release 1.0.0.a is prototype developed in master thesys of Joo Ricardo Bittencourt in Computer Science at Pontifcia Universidade Catlica do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Release Amphibian SDK 1.0.0.a includes source code, API (javadoc), libraries, plug-ins (include support to MP3 and OGG) and samples. In this version Amphibian runs in GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows and PalmOS (using SuperWaba - http://www.superwaba.com.br\).
