There are blogs out there that have RSS feeds, but that do not have
comments. I am thinking of creating a little website that would let other
folks browse the RSS feed of various blogs, and would then permit the
website user to view/create comments about various blog entries.
I have created various 0.91 and 1.00 RSS feeds, but never a 2.0 feed.
What does it take to take a 0.91, 1.00 or 2.0 feed and add a comments link
to each item AND have that comment link point to a different website than
the item points to (and then distribute *that* as an annotated 2.0 feed
for the original feed.)
Is this a legally questionable thing to do? Would it be seen as
infringement of some sort of copyrightable material, or does the "Really
Simple Syndication" of RSS safely weasel me into the clear?
