I think there's definite interest - I'm overdue in sending someone else 
(a mac developer) instructions on how to build the 
amis-core-library-refactor/AmisCore module plus its python wrapper. 
Unfortunately, I've been swamped by other projects and travel for the 
past few months, but I think things are easing up momentarily, so one 
day soon, I will boot into my ubuntu partition and try to get some 
instructions happening.
