To quote myself:

One thing I had to change in the help file was that the dc:identifier couldn't be in Japanese, because AMIS uses that value to create a name for the bookmark file. This causes it to crash on English windows xp, probably because of problems with Japanese file names. I can't find anything in the Daisy standard which restricts the allowed values for dc:identifier, but I'm going to look into it.

Note that there were no reports of crashing on a Japanese windows machine.
