There is not right now. And it wasn't planned, but I'm adding your
request to our list of stuff. Sometime in the XXI century it might

I've been tempted many times to rename it from "automapper" to "mapper",
if that answers your question. The mapping stuff needs big help from
someone interested in enhancing it. The goal would be something similar
to zmud's, of course, but it's very far from that right now.

In 0.9.1, there's the gnome-mud-plugin-api manual, which currently
describes the Python interface, and the PLUGIN.API in the sources which
describes the C interface.

If you hack on some plugin and want to contribute it, we'd be very glad
to include it in our next release. Currently we're distributing no
plugins, which is a shame.
