When I selected a gene in the left menu, I get a list of chemicals. But when I click one of the chemicals, I don't get a tab for gene associations (like a TOX tab in eNanoMapper). I'm interested in this, because it's the kind of things I had hoped we got around to in eNanoMapper too. There, I want to see the material-protein association. Here, it would be nice to see which genes are associated with that compound, since that's how I searched.
(this is a long term feature request :)
Good suggestion overall.
By association do you mean any study where gene-compound pair appear (regardless of activity) - this is already available - for a list of chemicals, only the genes studied for those chemicals will appear.. Or do you define "association" related to activity (actives only or activity above certain threshold) - because the ExCAPE-DB contains both numeric activity values and perhaps we need enable queries related to numeric activity values.
For some chemicals there are a lot of studies, so you might have an impression all genes are shown, but they are actually filtered - see the attachment.
You might also use the

using the results facet (at the bottom left), as in the attached screenshot.
