As some of you may have noticed recently, ambient commits have slown down. The reasoning is that I am currently switching my distros installed on my pc from windows to ubuntu linux. This switch, and downtime may take several days, and I will post in the forums when I have my development environment un and running again. Until then please review the code, and for some of you that feel you can start playing with things, try to develop a few Composited Services with ambient and play around with it and try it out. The next major release will be the ambient kernel which I have been working on for a bit now, the kernel will see drastic changes in modularization as shown out on the wiki and is meant to scale for very large systems. After the kernel implementation, I would like this group to start focusing on building services to support the ambient architecture on both the rays level (things like wiki based stack trace errors, support tools, etc). And on the kernel stack end (more specifically on security, and a technology that I have not yet introduced (universal data drivers)).
