Hello everyone, Since this is this list's first message, let me remind everyone that = this is *not* spam, and, if the system works as I expect it to, you'll find instructions at the bottom of this letter on how to unsubscribe... First of all, a short introduction... For those who don't know who I am = (and I expect that to be most of you), I'm Mauricio D=EDaz (a.k.a. Madd0, on = the web) and I'm the developer of amazOOP. Now, back to the point... I'm inaugurating this list today because I = need to make a decision concerning amazOOP's next release, and I thought that if anyone was interested enough in the project to subscribe to this list, = they might be able to help me... amazOOP's goal is to provide an object oriented API to consume Amazon = Web Services, however it hasn't been doing a very good job... This is partly = due to the fact that OOP support in PHP4 is very limited. So I was = wondering, what if we make the move to PHP5? After all, it's no longer a beta (as = it was when amazOOP was first released...)=20 =20 I'd like to know what you, the actual users, think about this?=20 =20 If it's change you're worried about, I think moving to PHP5 would be the least of your concerns, since I'm writing the next version of amazOOP = from scratch and I'm keeping in mind that I'm writing an API and not an application. Ergo, the next version of amazOOP will be completely = different from 0.3. I await your comments.
