Community funds/Enterprise support

Hi All,

Tomorrow Zmanda will be announcing availability of enterprise level
support for Amanda. It will be available as an annual subscription in
form of "Zmanda Network" (very much along the lines of "MySQL Network"
and "Red Hat Network").

I want to thank all of you for your continued helped in bringing Amanda
to its current stage (enabling its wider acceptance in the enterprise).

Zmanda is committed to providing leadership and resources to open source
community to develop and enhance data protection software projects. Our
vision is to create open source and open standards based data protection
solutions. As part of this commitment, we have already provided
significant resources to the Amanda community. We plan to continue to
fund new developments in open source data protection software.
