the end of October aMail 2.1.1 will appear"
on scene ... and we are in June, three
months and a half behind schedule =P
Don't panic we continue "on the move" with
a lot of coding and lots of stuff to do
behind us.

This release is the first one to be developed under the SourceForge umbrella and, coincidently, some new things happened to aMail:

just a little interruption to give you news about aMail.
A new revision of aMail original has arrived, with three bug fixes. You can download it from the aMail page, files section (http://sourceforge.net/projects/amail).
More news are coming, and is about release 2.1. It's being developed, the aMail-stable package was created, and 2.1 revision will be ready near the end of September to allow you download the last stabilized aMail version. As usual the state-of-theart version can be download from CVS, and we encourage you to do it !!!... read more

this is the first issue of aMail-announce, the list for catching the latest news about aMail.
I wish to give you a warmly Welcome! to the list, and its nuts and bolts.
The announcements are planed to be bi-weekly (once each two weeks) and will carry all the work made, addings, comments and so on for aMail.
As the starting point I wish to thank Alex Hart for all the work done on aMail (he's the creator and first programmer). He's not working as developer for aMail, but we keep in touch.... read more
