I searched through all the docs, but I wasn't able to find out how to get
the number of result rows in a RowCursor object.

It's not possible to know how many rows there are until _after_ you've
fetched them all, at which point you could use the RowCursor->count
The only way to know before hand is to do a 'SELECT COUNT(...)' type query
with the same join, where clause, etc.
