http://bochs.sourceforge.net. It's a PC emulator, which is AFAIK used
by most operating systems developers (even for one proprietary OS -
the Trumpet's Petros or something). Versions for both Linux and
Windows exist (and I guess somewhat older versions even for Mac). You
can either download the 1.3 binaries, or the current CVS version. If
you have any problems, feel free to ask here or at the Bochs' mailing
list.
