I examined your source code and I think it is bad for skeleton... Anyway I 
think we should use GRUB; cuz:
  1. It loads kernel and modules in elf or a.out format.
  2. It enters protected mode and jumps to kernel entry.
  3. It passes to kernel entry information about modules location.
  4. It passes many different information (ex. memory map and size). 

As you can see, GRUB can do a lot of activities we can use.

Btw, may be after several hours I change my decision about your source 
code...
