AlterSend transfers files directly from one device to another — no uploads, no servers, no accounts, no size limits. Whether you're sending a 5 MB photo or a 500 GB video archive, the experience is the same: pick a file, share a short code, and your file moves straight from your device to theirs.

Every transfer is end-to-end encrypted. Files never touch a server. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing stored in the cloud after you're done.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open AlterSend on the sending device and pick your files.
2. Share the short join code (or QR) with the receiving device.
3. The other device enters the code, and the transfer starts.
4. Files move directly, peer-to-peer, encrypted end-to-end.

It works on the same Wi-Fi network and across the internet — same code, same speed, no setup. If both devices are on the same network, transfers happen at LAN speed.
