Fedora 31 can't mount a windows share in DNS-327L. The message is "Failed to mount Windows share: Software cause connection abort".
A workaround suggested by https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1768117 to add
[global]
client min protocol = NT1
to /etc/samba/smb.conf on hte Fedora system allowed the connection however and files within a folder are displayed as folders and are unusable. Files contained in the top folder are displayed correctly and are usable. The attached screen shots show the structure and the tertiary files displayed as folders. Something a file is displayed correctly while teh other files are are displayed as folders, if you go up a level and down again teh file is now displayed as a folder.
There are no obvious log entries.
After several changes including enabling SMB2 no progress. Mounting the NAS from the command line worked and the files were visible correctly. Wireshark showed a number of anomolies but out of the blue the problems have gone away and the NAS and FC31 are working together.
