#249 RealTek ALC655 Mic doesn't Work

We have a Gigabyte GA-7VT600-L motherboard and are
having problems using the MIC (RealTek ALC655).

The Mic works fine running windows (we are running
dual-boot) but does not work under Linux.

We are running Fedora Core 4 with all current updates.
I know that this chip uses the same plugs for speakers
or Mic depending on the setup.

I suspect a setting in the driver, but I can't figure
out how to tell it that I am only using two speakers.

Any ideas on how to get the Mic working?
