Im using Suse Linux 7.2. > Can anyone help me? The suse kernel-source package doesn't include this file because of policy of Makefile in kernel. It's a file containing a single line. Just do like this: echo '#include <linux/modsetver.h>' > /usr/src/linux/include/linux/modversions.h Also, please make sure to copy autoconf.h and version.h from your /boot directory (named vmlinuz.xxx) so that the configuration of compiled ALSA modules matches with that of your kernel.
