Hi, I have a little problem with my SB PCI 128 in connection with TeamSpeak2 (www.teamspeak.org) and Quake3 (or any other quake-engine based game). When I run TeamSpeak2 on the /dev/dsp device and any other application on /dev/adsp, everything is okay. But Quake3 seems to need a capture-able device - don't know why - but on my soundcard /dev/adsp is only able to playback. Is there any way to simulate a fullduplex device, just for Quake3? In the ALSA docs I read about setting the pcm device in /proc to playback only for Quake3, but this method recommends, that two processes can connect to a single device. Unfortunately that's not possible with an sbpci 128... Fatty |
