I have been working recently on 3d enhancement effect,
but i'd like to know whether this (and full duplex
support) has been included in the driver. I have no
experience in kernel hacking.
I have guessed all this upon the windows driver
implementation. 3d effect consist of 2 mixer channels
which add this enhancement (i hope the values are right):
- 0x51 channel port (allowed values: 0-15 )
- 0x50 channel port (allowed values: 0xc0 - 0xf1 )
Other values may disable the effect, but there is also
another method for disabling and enabling the channels
(i forgot how that was made, i can look for it...)
which the windows driver use.
I have got both ALS120 and ALS110+ cards. I think this
works at least on als110+ card.
* About the full-duplex mode i have no idea how to make
it work, i only know that it goes on windows using two
8bit dma channels.
