I just chanced to see Willems project as a result of comments he left on another tennis tournament organiser, TournamentMaker. I had forked Tournamentmaker to try and create a version suitable for general club play, where games are made up sort of randomly but based on grades. Tournamentmaker is a sophisticated and well written system, but it was difficult to modify to be simple enough for my needs. Willems software is almost perfect for that; it just needs a way of flagging players as In or Out as they arrive for play, (or rest) rather than enter them each time. Otherwise, it looks like I have a much simpler basis for what I need, well done.
