Hi Wulf, the difficulty with the smart superscripts is that it is not possible to create a binding with the circumflex accent on a german or a french keyboard because the circumflex is a dead key. There is no such problem an a US keyboard. Nevertheless I think I have found a solution using the characterInsertedHook and it looks like it should work on any keyboard. On a keyboard where the ^ key is a dead key, I have to type the ^ key followed by a space and then I get the expected ^{}•. This will be in the next release. cheers, Bernard Le 6 févr. 2017 à 10:05, Wulf Fetscher <fet...@ph...> a écrit : > Hi Bernard, > > I think this a good idea, since the term AlphaCocoa is rather clumsy. At this point, I suggest that the final product be named Alpha rather than AlphaCocoa. The goal of this project was to provide a reincarnation of the original text editor and old-time users always refer to it under this name. I think this will also facilitate its promotion in the future. >> Any thoughts or suggestions? >> cheers, >> Bernard >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >> Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most >> engaging tech sites, SlashDot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot >> _______________________________________________ >> AlphaTcl-users mailing list >> Alp...@li... >> http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alphatcl-users >> > |
