I have tried all the alpha releases of alphacocoa (soon to be renamed), focusing on TeX. When I use a menu article in the TeX menu, nonthing happens until I click on any menu item. This is the case for the general "New...","Open..." in the file menu. This is persistent, that is it persists even after the menu invocation succeeds. I insist on the fact that I use the mouse and not the menu shortcuts which work well.
My machine is a 5K iMac and the system is El Capitan 10.11.6 .
This is annoying since I like to explore the LaTeX menus and that I have not made any binding yet.

This is on the alpha 14 release, and the previous ones too.

It is probably the same issue as reported in Ticket #10.
I must solve this but so far I have not been able to understand the cause. It works fine on 10.9, but not on greater versions of the system.

This is fixed now. See Ticket #10.
The fix will be in next release (9.0b1).

Rebuilt core and updated Tcl; a brief test seems to indicate that the issues described in this ticket are fixed for both OS X 10.10 and 10.12. Thanks
      very much!
