I suppose you've been trying from the Alpha ↣ Update AlphaTcl menu. Which command have you been using: User Update or Developer Checkout ?
I just tried and got a different message ending with:

- Fingerprint: 9c:63:de:5c:24:c4:86:ed:d2:53:26:e1:26:6b:52:0d:dd:b0:95:a3 (R)eject, accept (t)emporarily or accept (p)ermanently?

I typed p (for permanent) and pressed Return and then the checkout started.

  Yes. I get the same message using User Update and Developer Checkout.
  I’m working on a MacBook w/ macOS Sierra 10.12.1 installed.

Could you try to execute the checkout from a Terminal window like this:

svn co https://svn.code.sf.net/p/alphacocoa/code/Current/Libraries/AlphaTcl

and see if the svn command provides a way to circumvent any issue. As indicated in a previous comment, it usually proposes something like:

Fingerprint: 9c:63:de:5c:24:c4:86:ed:d2:53:26:e1:26:6b:52:0d:dd:b0:95:a3 (R)eject, accept (t)emporarily or accept (p)ermanently?

It could be also that your internet connection or the SourceForge server was down at the moment you executed the command.

    Hi Bob,
    
    Once you have been able to do a checkout you should check how an update works (via the menu command). Knowing the outcome of that may help him narrow know what is going on. (You would expect the update to just tell you that things are up to date, although Bernard is obviously working on things, so you never know.

Let's hope this fixes the command in Alpha. I'm marking this bug as fixed but please reopen it if the problem happens again.
