Open the find dialog, insert a search term, mark the option "Batch" and press the button "Search Window".
The dialog window disappears and nothing happens.
Hi Giovanni,
I just tested this (with the 9.0a9 version) exactly as you describe and it works for me.
Could it be that there was no match in your file or that the From Current Position option was checked and this position was after the last match? When there is no match, seemingly nothing happens but at least you have a message in the status bar saying "No match found".

There are matches and the position is at the beginning of the file.
In every case (with or without matches) the message in the status bar is the complete path to the file.

Meanwhile, you can use a new command introduced in AlphaCocoa to do batch searches: if you activate the Hyper Search package from Alpha ↣ Global Setup ↣ Features, you have a new command called Hyper Search in the Search menu (bound to ⌃⌥⌘F). It lets you perform searches in an entire hierarchy (with filtering conditions if necessary) and displays its results in a window with hyperlinks to the different matches.
See the doc in Hyper Search Help.

I don't observe any issue using the latest code (9.0a11). This may have been fixed as a consequence of the recent revision of search commands. To be confirmed...

I tried again batch search and it worked. But afterwards it stopped working.
I'll try to understand when it stops working.

I have no problem with batch search with AlphaCocoa 9.0a11 and 9.0a12.
