Hi Tom, very weird ! Could you check that you haven’t accidentally activated the German Umlaute package. That would be (when you are in TeX mode) in the Alpha ↣ TeX Mode Setup ↣ Features panel. If not, could you check your Keyboard setting in the Alpha ↣ Preferences ↣ Global Preferences ↣ International panel ?
