Hi Giovanni, I just tested this behavior and it seems to work for me. This is what I did: * edited a tex file * typeset the file * edited the log file (the *Revert* item at this point is dimmed) * then switched to the tex file again and typeset it again * then switched to the log file: this time, the status bar displays the warning AND the *Revert* item is enabled. Could you give an exact sequence of actions where this behavior gets wrong ? The check for newer (or older) version of the file on disk is triggered each time a document window is activated. In my previous example, it occurs when I bring the log file to the front after the second typeset. --- ** [tickets:#173] Activation of "Revert To Saved"** **Status:** open **Created:** Thu Jul 05, 2018 08:54 AM UTC by Giovanni Dore **Last Updated:** Thu Jul 05, 2018 08:54 AM UTC **Owner:** nobody In AlphaX when the file for the active window is changed on disk the menu item "Revert To Saved" is active. In Alpha the status bar says "File for window "..." has changed on disk since last save (the version on disk is newer)" but the menu item remains inactive. Sometimes the old behaviour is useful. For example if a tex file is typesetted while the log file is open it is useful to view quickly the new log file. --- Sent from sourceforge.net because alp...@li... is subscribed to https://sourceforge.net/p/alphacocoa/tickets/ To unsubscribe from further messages, a project admin can change settings at https://sourceforge.net/p/alphacocoa/admin/tickets/options.
