Hi Jon,
Not sure I understand the rationale nor the desired behavior which depends on the relative positions of your monitors on the coordinate system. They could be aligned on their top edges. Could you elaborate ?

In a multimonitor setup, if I switch focus to a monitor focus *to another app*, the topmost window on the first monitor is moved down such that it's no higher than the top of the new monitor.

Selecting another Alpha window on another monitor does *not* trigger this behavior.
