Hi Jon, Not sure I understand the rationale nor the desired behavior which depends on the relative positions of your monitors on the coordinate system. They could be aligned on their top edges. Could you elaborate ? --- ** [tickets:#170] Windows jump around when switching between multiple monitors** **Status:** open **Created:** Wed Jun 27, 2018 01:41 PM UTC by Jonathan E. The top edges of the virtual monitors are not aligned in my Displays preference panel because the top edges of the monitors are not aligned in meatspace. --- ** [tickets:#170] Windows jump around when switching between multiple monitors** **Status:** open **Created:** Wed Jun 27, 2018 01:41 PM UTC by Jonathan E. Hi Jon, I have been experiencing with a two-monitor setup at work and I must confess that I do not understand what you describe: no window has been jumping in all the situations I tested (monitors aligned on the top or the bottom edges, windows high or low on the two monitors etc.). Could you explain exactly what you observe ? --- ** [tickets:#170] Windows jump around when switching between multiple monitors** **Status:** open **Created:** Wed Jun 27, 2018 01:41 PM UTC by Jonathan E. It happens when I click in a window that does not belong to Alpha, e.g., Terminal.app. I don't know if it matters, but I have two external monitors connected to my laptop, for a total of 3. I've not been at work for a few days, so won't be able to post any further diagnostics until midday Monday (my time). --- ** [tickets:#170] Windows jump around when switching between multiple monitors** **Status:** open **Created:** Wed Jun 27, 2018 01:41 PM UTC by Jonathan E.
