Welcome to AlMutarjim wiki!

This software is specifically intended to french islamic translators (yes I know, I'm writing this in English). However, it can, and maybe would, be adapted to other languages in a near future.

Working actually as an Islamic french translator, I wanted to develop a small software gathering a number of tools I usually need in my work. So in brief, this software is a all in one tool.

It's actually an Aplha version still in development. This version doesn't contain all the final functionnality and bugs still remain. You can download it, try it and give me a feed back or track the bugs by sending me the "log.xml" file.

It actually contain the following tools:

  1. Quran tab: able you to query the Quran and display the Hamidullah french translation.

  2. Books tab: not implemented yet. On construction...

  3. ArabicNormalizer tab: let you get rid of all the arabic diacritics.

  4. Le Littré tab: an electronic version of the "Littré" french dictionary base on the XML file compiled by François Gannaz. See his website HERE.

  5. Verbs tab: a tool that able you to query a XML database containing 7000 french verbs. The XML files were compiled by Pierre Sarrazin. More information are available on his website HERE.

  6. Synonyms tab: able you to query a XML database based on the myThes V2.3 downloaded from HERE.

/!\ This software need the last Java JRE to be able to work. If you don't have it, you can download it from HERE.

INSTALLATION:
