Hello
We are using allocPSA and loving it! We have, however, noticed a strange bit of behaviour when creating tasks from emails. This function works beautifully, however the tasks do not appear under the tasks tab, nor are they searchable by the filter.
If I search for the task number (1 or 2 in this case), I can find them. They only appear in the tasks list if I assign a project to the them.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I realise that the link to the task appears after it has been created and the email archived, and I can assign it a project from there, however how would I be sure that one hasn't been missed or if a staff member creates one and then does not update it?
Otherwise, a wonderful product that I look forward to using, great work!
Regards,
Jürgen

There's a half sort of hidden project filtering option on the task list page.
Where if you click the "Projects" link above the project dropdown in the filter.
And then select the "Everything" radio button. Perhaps that will show the project-less tasks?
I agree that this is not ideal - especially for the auto-created tasks...

Hi Alex
I have been through every filtering option that I can find, nothing reveals them unless I search for the number. Is there any other way to retrieve these orphans? A report or the like?
Again, if it was just me creating tasks, it might be OK. But there is a serious risk that tasks will be missed in it's current state.
Thanks
Jürgen

Can you confirm with me that you understood every step that I outlined in my previous message?
Ie the radio button with the word "Everything" next to it.

Hi Alex
Sorry, was looking for this in the projects column. Found this radio button, and indeed have all tasks listed. This is relief.
Thanks for this awesome software and support!
