Invalid username or password after fresh install

Hello,
I appreciate your help in advance. I just installed it for the first time, I get everything installed OK untill I get the login screen, but when I enter the username and pass it throws an error...

My /var/www/alloc/alloc_config.php" file is as follows

I get : " Invalid username or password." in the login screen...
Is there a table in which I can check the valid users using mysql?

right on the login screen... I have never been able to login since I first installed it yesterday. All the steps on the install returned positive resultrs.
And Yes I am sure that im using the correct user and pass that are in the config php file, which are the same as the sql user "alloc" with which I cann login to mysql and phpmyadmin with no problems.
Any ideas?

I am sure im using the correct user and pass (the one on the alloc config php file below), it is also the same user and pass of the sql database alloc. I can sign in to sql and phpmyadmin no probblem!
