Hi! After some time wasted wondering what was wrong, I came to the conclusion that get_datafile_property always returns blank strings if I pass it a datafile object loaded with load_datafile_object(). If however I pass it a datafile loaded by load_datafile(), it returns the property strings just fine. Can anyone verify that this behaviour is correct? And is this behaviour intentional? It would be _very_ usefull to me to get the properties of the objects, and it would be _very_ impractical for me to load entire datafililes just to get those names. I may not use the absolute newest allegro (I don't bother update at every new minor release), but I can't imagine the datafile code having changed any lately anyway. I guess if I cannot get the property of singly-loaded objects, I will have to write my own wrapper for objects I write in and out of datafiles, which would be a waste of energy considering I only want a single property attached to each object.
