#27 Canadian postal codes not recognized

I cannot change the order status from "Tentative Order-
Authorization Pending" to "Awaiting Fulfillment" when
a Canadian Zip Code is entered (eg. M5W 3L3) because
this field dictates that it has to be all numbers. Any
way around this? I'm using v1.0.3
