On OS X Mountain Lion, ALH crashes very frequently, typically when doing FORM or MOVE orders. It also has problems displaying entered text correctly - it actually flips the text upside down and then overlays it over existing text!
I did a little research and it sounds like vxWidgets is possibly not stable on OSX Mountain Lion.
The crashes are frequent enough that it is actually quite difficult to get one unit's orders in before a crash.
