Hi Everybody,

 Sorry for my very late reply, but I was very busy in previous days
(in work and then I was sick). I am happy that all of you have
enthusiasm in AlgebraDB. Everybody who is waiting for reply to
his email from me personally, please take this message as one
big reply to everyone, because I do not have enough resources
to reply to each of you.
 Before I start with main "body" of message I want to mention some
organizational things. Everybody who want to participate in AlgebraDB
development should be subscribed in AlgebraDB mailing list, which is on
 http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/algebradb-list
And all your questions (whatever is it) ask there. Because I really
do not have enough energy to explain all things to each of you
separatelly.
 And next thing is: everybody who isn't listed in developers list on
sourceforge.net, please send me his account name on Sourceforge.net
and then I can add him to list.

 It would be very good if all of you can go thru all the stuff in
sources. Currently this is the only one "documentation" about the
project. I think that our very important goal in future should be
the creation of documentation. And also we need people with analytical
skills. Because now I would like to set up the basic functional
requirements of AlgebraDB and then we can build up the design of
AlgebraDB. And after this step we can start with implementation.
These steps can be succesfull only when all of you are going to
participate in public discussion about AlgebraDB. Please do not hesitate
and take part in discussion. One important point about AlgebraDB
mailing list on sourceforge.net, there is disabled automatic reply
to AlgebraDB list from your email clients when you press reply, you
have to use group reply, reply to all or you must manually specify
AlgebraDB mailing list address.
 We already started creating a "BIG Picture" about the AlgebraDB.
But this task was jammed. There are many reasons why. First reason
is that this picture is for currect design of AlgebraDB. I think
that we do not need waste time with creating of "BIG picture" from
current design. Old design has many drawbacks so we have to start
build a new AlgebraDB design. And second reason is that we choosed
wrong case tool for this task. It looks like Microsoft Visio 5 isn't
a good choice. We have to choose some Free (probably OpenSource)
tool for UML. I have many recommendations for ArgoUML. Probably
we should use this tool.
 Next very important task for us, is to build a team of people where
everybody will have his own role. It's very simple. Currently we need
some analylists and architects. Please don't be afraid of these roles.
Nobody is perfect, so do not hesitate to volunteer in this taks. I
think that more skilled members will help to every novices.
 And ofcourse we need people for some programming. This is easiest
task. But programmers can start their tasks only after step of Design.
 I recommend to use RUP for our project. I know that tools from Rational
software are expensive and we will not use them, but we can take an
advantage of this methodology in managing of our project.
 Please send your opinions about these plans. I am really interested in
them.
