Alfresco ECMS V1.2 RC 2 Now Available

We are pleased to announce that Release Candidate 2 of Alfresco Version 1.2 is available. This release has provided a number of features to simplify deployment and development of Enterprise Content Management. Some of the new capabilities include:

* Administration – Document Level Permissions, Upgrade Management and Export/Import of Permission
* Guest access to web client and templated files
* Support for JSR 170 Level 2
* A templating interface for RSS feeds
* Web Services Starter-Kit
* Easy access to web client from Virtual File System interface
* Team Collaboration – Forums/Threaded Discussions on a document or a space
* Advanced Search – Multiple Category and Object Type support. Saved Searches.
* Support for JBoss portal 2.2 and Firefox 1.5 support
